The stone dog, also crafted from solid green stone, is smaller, measuring about 2m in length and 1m in height. Sculpted in a lying posture, with a slender body, short legs, and a coiled tail, the stone dog is positioned on both sides of the main temple entrance to safeguard the temple against negative forces, bringing peace to the local community.
The pair of dragons on the roof of the ancient temple at Kỳ Sầm is a unique artistic sculpture, bearing the unmistakable cultural stamp of the Tày ethnic group. Carved from wood, the large dragons measure approximately 5m in length and 2m in height. According to Tày beliefs, dragons symbolize spiritual entities, embodying strength, authority, and good fortune.
